Kenya Pipeline Company reported a 13% rise in profit after tax to Sh11.58 billion for the year to June 2026 and is pursuing a Sh35 billion oil trading hub in Mombasa, a development relevant to listed energy counters and infrastructure financing. Quickmart's planned NSE listing drew scrutiny after Sterling Capital valued the retailer below its Sh7.50 offer price, a reference point for investors evaluating the November 12 listing. Separately, Epra's withdrawal of fuel subsidies points to further pressure on pump prices, a cost factor for manufacturing and transport-linked counters.
